The circulating water filter is a relatively new type of filtering equipment for some people, so today we first introduce to us the matters needing attention for the selection of the circulating water filter. I hope that after our introduction, it can bring us a certain amount of help. First, let us introduce the division principle of the circulating water filter.
(1) According to the installation method of the filter, it can be divided into: full filtration and side filtration. In short, full filtration is a filtering device that can be directly installed on the main road. Full filtration refers to the method that requires a bypass pipeline to install the filter. Basically, these two installation methods are only needed now.
(2) According to the principle of the filter, there can be a variety of methods: sand, filter and walnut shell, laminated sheet, net type, fiber ball, fiber bundle and other filters.
(3) The primary division of the filter installed in the total filtration and the filter in the side filtration is that the pressure loss of the filter installed in the total filtration must be small. It is assumed that the large pressure loss will affect the flow and velocity of the main pipeline. Because of the safety factors, full-filter filters are often used with low accuracy. The higher the filter accuracy, the greater the pressure loss and the lower the flow rate. By-pass filtration does not need to consider factors such as pressure loss, so the selected filters often have higher accuracy and better filtering results.
(4) On many filtration methods in the shopping malls, media filters (sand filters, etc.) are rarely designed for satisfactory filtration, because media filters have high pressure loss, but high filtration accuracy and good results.
The precision of sand media filtration of the circulating water filter is higher than that of the active backwash filter, and the backwash effect is also good. For example: The precision of PEP sand filter is 5 micron (5NTU), and the accuracy can be as low as 0.45 micron.
